INFO ABOUT CONSCRIPTS: The Conscripts are a human Combine unit cut from Half-Life 2. They were to be the remains of the former Earth forces requisitioned and unwillingly reincorporated (according to the definition of Conscription) into the Combine units as low rank human Combine soldiers, apparently even lower than the Civil Protection. They were to be headed by Captain Vance. Despite being ultimately cut from the game, Overwatch announcements and in-game references to them still appear.

Backstory [4 PARAGRAPHS LONG]
Sam Parlor(Originally Sam Tawede) Is a South African Migrant.
He came to the country a few years before the Resonance Cascade and the 7 hour war.
For a few years he worked in retail before being sentenced to court for tax evasion. This would have winded him up
6 years in prison. Though he was given a deal: Either take the sentence in prison or... join the military.
In the end Sam chose the army.
In the military he was shipped off to a few middle eastern country's to fight in the war over there. He made himself a reputation
as one of the dumbest people there. He kept running into enemy lines trying to find cover before being grabbed by the captain.
After 2 years of being in the army he had learnt how to protect himself. He was no longer stupid and had the rank of corporal.
Sam returned to South Africa for a few months to live with his family and see them once again.
He stayed in SA for a few months before being urgently called back to his commanding base as an urgent matter arose.
As he arrived he saw so many bodies gathered on the floor, Then looked to the skies...
A portal had opened and many strange looking ships flew through the portal. At that moment hundreds of Combine open fired on the town and base.
Sam was shot in the leg before being tied up and but in a ship.
When he awoke he was in a strange room.
He was tested on for weeks before having to sign a deal. Work for the combine as a conscript.
After that he signed the deal and went through months of intensive training to join the UU.
He was transferred to City 17 where has been for the past few months.

/me Un checks the safety on my weapon
/me Opens fire on the civilian using s2m before killing them
